I moved blogs today. I am also in the process of consolidating my entries from blogger to tabulas.
Will announce the new blog as soon as I get the kinks out.

(to anybody who still drops by this blog, at least.)

Ohhhhhhh. I am back in this country.
If there was one thing that I have learned during my recent trip to the PIs is that "there's no place like home"
I missed my family, my friends and omigod the food. It was just amaaaaaazing dahlings.
And I also learned to accept one thing. I will never be the skinny girl I used to be. My curves have kicked in and whether I like it or not, I have to love it.
I have to go back to work tomorrow. I love my job, but (major BUT) I am going to have to deal with my number one stressor of a coworker. However, since a lot of my perspectives have shifted since my vacation, I may not have to tolerate her anymore and just tell her as it is. That after the masquerade of actually participating (and GASP! "enjoying")in her wedding, it's over.
I honestly think that the moment our plane landed in San Francisco, I automatically gained 5 lbs.
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I need to cuddle up to my husband before he leaves me for work for the week.
Back in the US.

Busy unpacking and sorting laundry. The house looks ok, but needs cleaning. I already stopped by work and did a sweep of cases that I need to work on.
Photos from the trip to Manila posted at emkaye.multiply.com
I need help with my blog. I might pick up another one and start from scratch.

I happened to download the new album from Jason Mraz and I actually liked everything that's in it.
Notable mention is Lucky, a duet with Colbie Caillat (of the Bubbly fame). I found myself giggling cause it totally reminds me of how lucky I am to be married to somebody as awesome as my husband.
It's crazy how we manage to survive only seeing each other approximately 12 days in a month (15 if we're pushing it).
Anyhow, a status report on the fitness plan. I would be happy to report that I have already dropped 8 pounds by excersing and watching what I eat (I refuse to admit that I am on a "diet"). I feel better about myself and I feel better with the discipline that I have been exhibiting. I actually am surprising myself. Although I will not go back to my 85-pound frame, as my friends might remember the last time they saw me, I will be rocking really really awesome legs. Hahahahaha. No joke man, my legs are the last thing that I need to work out and they are turning out to be the best part of it all!
It's officially one more month before my feet step on motherlandia soil once more, hopefully not to wreak havoc. We're not up with the itineraries yet, although I have been talking to some of my awesome awesome awesome friends to help me with the planning of the festivities. I can't wait to see everybody, at the same time, I can't wait to have some down time with the husband. In case you didn't know, eversince we got married, we haven't been on a vacation-vacation. We go do "out of town" trips, which usually last the holiday/weekend, but as for some R & R? We have not had it. We got married Memorial Day weekend of 06 and the honeymoon was pretty much it.
And honest to God, if anybody deserves this vacation, it's me and him.
One thing though, anybody brings up straight-up-bitchass-drama I will not be afraid to call them out and say it to their face. I'm coming home to relax and see friends of old. Which, I want to talk about, but I will choose to pick another time to do som
This blog so totally needs a makeover. I still can't do it as I am very busy with other engagements.
Well, I know Google's just a hop, skip and a click away, but I decided to paste down the lyrics of Lucky to this post.
Do you hear me,
I'm talking to you
Across the water across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm trying
Boy I hear you in my dreams
I feel your whisper across the sea
I keep you with me in my heart
You make it easier when life gets hard
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
They don't know how long it takes
Waiting for a love like this
Every time we say goodbye
I wish we had one more kiss
I'll wait for you I promise you, I will
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
Lucky we're in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
And so I'm sailing through the sea
To an island where we'll meet
You'll hear the music fill the air
I'll put a flower in your hair
though the breezes through trees
Move so pretty you're all I see
As the world keeps spinning round
You hold me right here right now
I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again
I'm lucky we're in love every way
Lucky to have stayed where we have stayed
Lucky to be coming home someday
Ooohh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
Ooooh ooooh oooh oooh ooh ooh ooh ooh
